At Home with Mindfulness will show you how to reduce stress and radically transform your moment to moment experience, using the skills of Mindfulness in the comfort of your own home.

I get where you’re at …because I’ve been there too 

I know what it’s like to spend long hours in the home during times of sickness, unemployment and quarantine. I’ve been there and worn the t-shirt. I know the frustration, rumination and boredom that can arise. I also know it’s the very time when self-compassion is most needed, and yet can seem to be scarce. I first discovered the practice of mindfulness, when I was at home for an extended period of time, unemployed, sick, frustrated and looking for distraction from my ruminating thoughts. In a moment of desperation, I asked for help from the universe, and was directed towards a shelf, laden with books. Sitting on this shelf, was Ekart Toles book The Power of Now, which had been there for many years, and yet I had never opened it, and had absolutely no idea what it was about.  This was my aha moment…!  Reading this book literally changed everything. My perception went through a radical shift, allowing me to see things very differently to how I had seen them before, and with ever increasing clarity. I read every book I could find on mindfulness, and studied in great detail the work of Jon Kabat-Zinn. I began to practice Mindfulness daily, developing greater self-awareness and a deeper sense of compassion for myself. This led eventually to training as a professional MBSR Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Instructor. I am now a full time Mindfulness Instructor, and have been teaching Mindfulness for many years, working with hundreds of people. I want to share with you now, the wisdom of what I have discovered, and guide you through an experience, which reveals the trans-formative power of Mindfulness.   

How it works

This two-week course is designed as a gentle introduction to Mindfulness. It covers all the fundamentals, and offers practical exercises you can begin implementing immediately. It includes guided meditations, specially designed to help you de-stress in your home, and shows you how to interact with everyday household objects, as a stress reducing meditative activity. The course contents includes videos, guided meditations, mindful activities, downloadable handouts, recommended readings and lots more. It runs over 14 days, with lessons delivered directly to you, every 2 days.
